My group and I couldn’t decide on a topic at first for the literature review. We listed multiple potential topics and debated on the amount of information each would provide for us to all have sufficient parts and successfully complete the assignment. We decided on genetic engineering because it was an interesting and a new topic. We decided we wanted to bring more awareness to this technology. After deciding on parts each person would cover, we went over schedules and decided when we would meet up to work on this, and decided on the deadline for the draft. We used  google docs to combine our parts and as a means of proofreading and editing. I was able to achieve the sixth course learning objective, ‘practice using various library resources, online databases, and the Internet to locate sources appropriate to your writing projects’. My group members and I used the school database and library resources to find sufficient information and reliable sources to complete this project.
